On the afternoon of 16th January, 2019, Anqing Foreign Language School’s General Party Branch held the enlarged session at the party members’ activity room. In attendance were Comrade Sun Yijun, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, committee members, party branch secretaries, party branch sub-committees as well as outstanding party members in the year 2018.
First of all, Deputy Secretary Sun Yijun summarized the work of the General Party Branch in the past year and awarded honorary certificates and bonuses to four comrades who won the title of ‘Excellent Party Members’ in 2018. To be specific, Comrades Li Jia, Yang Hanpei, Xuan Meili and Lao Guolin won the title of ‘Outstanding Party Members’. In their subsequent speeches, they showed their gratitude for the cultivation and trust provided by the General Party Branch, expressing that they would play a pioneering and exemplary role of outstanding party members in their future work. All the party members at the meeting expressed their warm congratulations!
Second of all, the meeting discussed and approved the ‘2019 Work Plan of Anqing Foreign Language School’s General Party Branch’. Deputy Secretary Sun Yijun said that in 2019 everyone was supposed to continue to adhere to the study and implementation of the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, conduct the in-depth study of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, further promote the learning and education of party building studies, tangibly strengthen the construction of the party member team as well as propel the improvement and better quality of Anqing Foreign Language School’s education and teaching. On the other hand, the key points of the work in 2019 centered on enhancing the theoretical guidance, solidly boosting learning and education, implementing the thematic responsibility of the General Party Branch, comprehensively intensifying the organizational construction, reinforcing the construction of ideological style in addition to promoting the implementation of all the work. Then, each comrade respectively put forward their perspectives and thoughts towards the work plan which they unanimously passed!
Moreover, Deputy Secretary Sun Yijun asked all the party branches to make the learning activity plans in 2019, perfect the ledger system, carry out the Party Day activities, be realistic, pragmatic, pioneering and innovative to welcome the arrival of 2019 with new performances.
On the whole, this meeting was a great success, laying a solid foundation for the effective implementation of the work in the General Party Branch in the New Year.
